Standard Pitot Tubes
| Ideal
for use with manometers and Magnehelic® gauges, Dwyer Pitot
Tubes are constructed from corrosion resistant, 304 stainless steel for
a lifetime of service. Static pressure port is parallel to sensing tube
allowing quick, easy alignment of tube with airflow. Low sensitivity to
misalignment gives accurate reading even when tube is misaligned up to
15 degrees. Various standard sizes are available for use in ducts as
small as 4 inch diameter or as large as 60 inch diameter. Pitot
coefficient: 0.99 unless calibrated. |

Features:
• No calibration needed.
• Hemispherical tip design, best for accuracy if imperfectly
aligned and nearly impossible to damage.
• Silver soldered connections for leak-proof operation.
• 5/16 inch models rated to 1500°F, 1/8 inch models to
800°F.
• Dwyer Air Velocity Calculator, direct reading flow charts
and instructions included.
• Use 1/8 inch models in ducts as small as 4 inches. Use 5/16
inch models in ducts 10 inches or larger.
• Optional mounting gland or split flange make permanent
installation fast and simple. |

Special Pitot Tube for
Method 2C (PT2C-24)
Pitot tube custom made to specifications outlined in US
EPA Method 2C. Modified hemispherical-nosed pitot for Method 2C
features a shortened stem and enlarged impact and static pressure
holes. This pitot is useful for saturated gas streams when
“back-purging” is ineffective. Pitot coefficient:
0.99 unless calibrated. |
