Air Sampling SUMMA Canisters
Electropolished, Stainless Steel SUMMA Canisters
Andersen Instruments SUMMA Canisters are designed to collect
trace levels of air toxics. SUMMA Electropolished Stainless Steel Canisters
meet all requirements of EPA Compendium Method TO-14. The canister meets
EPA protocols for collection of ambient volatile organic compounds (VOC)
ensuring long term sample stability, even in the ppb range. A 6 liter canister
can be set for flow rates of 2 to 500 scc/min to facilitate short or lengthy
sampling times and ease of operation. SilicoCan Canisters which are coated with
Silco Steel are also available.

Features

SUMMA electropolish is done internally to the stainless steel canister after
welding the two halves together.
100% passivation of all internal surfaces with no active sites of welds or seams

All canisters are individually tested to pass EPA TO-12 method at <20ppbvC

valves, or canisters dip tube
