The New TE-323 Canister Sampler meets all
requirements of EPA Compendium Method TO-14/TO-15. The canister sampler
meets EPA protocols for collection of ambient Volatile Organic
Compounds (VOC). |

Features:
- Instructions on how to operate sampler are on
the menu on the front operating pane
- Remote starting on all 3 sampler channels from
your site data logger
- Sampler will operate on 100 to 240V AC 50/60
HZ or 12 DC battery, car lighter, solar panels, UPS system
- You can run all 3 sample canisters at one time
for quality control testing, or one at time for normal sampling
- 19 inch rack mount and table top rubber feet
- Condensation trap
- Flow rates are 1-300 mL/min
- Individual stainless steel vacuum and pressure
guages for each canister port
- Each channel has it's own elapsed timers for
the pump and sample to ensure chain of custody and Q.C. management of
data
- Lights for each sample channel allows the site
operator to see what is running in a noisy shelter
- PC has battery back-up and will retain memory
and on/off times for 365 days
- A three-way valve allows the sampler to purge
itself and adjustment of the flow rate just before the canister ports.
When the sampler starts to the canister it takes the flowmeter out of
the sampler flow.
- Outside shelter for this sampler, with remote
sampling, battery power, solar panel charging system
- Auto light plug for source sampling or
emergency responce
- Run two or three cans at once to Q.A.
canisters from field site
- Sampler will fill 6 L can in 40 mins. or less
to 10 PSI
- Sampler can be ordered with one to three
channels
- Add on channels: up to a total of 7 canister
channels
- Extra flow regulation can also be aadded to
alow use of different run times
- There is not limit on sampling events
- Save labour with a multi-event sampler
- Proven dependability in state agencies

The front Uniop Operator Panel is a back-lighted
panel with four lines, 20 characters and controls the Siemens PLC. It
lets the operator scroll through the preprogrammed menu to control the
ON and OFF times of pump and canister sampling channels. It also allows
the operator to set the days of the week on which the sampling will
take place and it will keep the total elapsed time of each channel and
pump run. Each channel page show the site time and the run day of the
week.

| The Tisch TE-323 Canister Sampler takes air from
the inlet on the pump and injects it into three (3) separate canisters
at a constant flow rate for a preset time. The excess air is released
through the bypass exhaust. The constant flow rate and elapsed time
allow the operator to compute the volume of integrated air samples and
set the flow using the built in flowmeter. The flowmeter is only inline
and showing the flow rate when the pump is running and the sample
channels are off. The flowmeter is taken out of the sampling path when
the sample to the canisters is activated. The samples are pumped
through a 12V D.C. pump, which develop sufficient pressure to control
the flow with a regulator. The pump also samples the air at a flow rate
of 5 L/min which keeps any long inlet sample lines flushed. |
| A small, constant flow of sampled air is pumped
into the sample canisters. You can set the sampler to turn on the pump
for any purge time before the sample time is turned on. Following
sampling, the pump turned off, the sample channel solenoid valve is
turn off and a check valve seals the canister until an operator can
close the canister valve. The water trap on the front panel keeps
excessive water out of the sampling path. All tubing inside sampler is
Chromatograph-grade stainless steel. A 47mm inlet particulate filter is
attached to the pump inlet on the back of the sampler. A
Teflon-impregnated glass-fiber filter is used inside the filter holder
to trap particulates. All gauges are stainless steel and are leak-free
and nonbiasing. |
