The SPM-613
particulate monitor utilizes the Beta Gauge Method; beta ray
absorption corresponds to mass weight. A beta gauge measures mass
concentration continuously while sampling aerosol on a rolled tape
filter. The beta ray source (147Pm)
intensity is less than 3.7 MBq (100
uCi), in
the level of which is free from any regulation to
operate.

suspended

Easy Operation
It is easy to operate the instrument using the well-engineered
interface with the touch screen display. The user is able to set up
using only this touch screen display by pushing the buttons indicated
on the screen. |
Fluorocarbon Filter
By using fluorocarbon membrane filters, the instrument is
less subject to humidity than glass-fiber filters. Therefore,
the measurement accuracy is improved substantially. |
Internet
The data is available to download using the Internet
anywhere in the
world, because the instrument has an IP address. (A PC
with an Ethernet port is necessary.) |
